The WebAim.org article is an excellent guide for those who design web pages for the best accessibility for all. The number of people who have learning disabiities and cognitive challenges far outnumber people who have physical and sensory disabilities combined. Recommended for all those who prepare documents and websites with accessibility as a priority.

PDF to Word is a handy online-application to convert a PDF document into either a WORD document or an RTF document (.rtf file extension), which can be viewed by all computer users.

View a tutorial and demonstration about the accessibility concerns of people who must use websites and miss important content because of the color choices of a web developer. There is a free download available of the program called Chrometric, which is for web designers to be able to view any web page to see how it wil be perceived.

While the process takes practice and careful proof-reading, it is possible to caption videos that are hosted on YouTube. One caution: you will need to review the actual captions with a person who relies on the captions to describe video content.
