Speech / Augmentative and Alternative Communication

In this session, you will learn what AAC is, who uses it, and why it’s important. Learn proper communication, etiquette and interactions with people who may be using these communication systems. In addition, you learn about the team involved in working with people with speech related disabilities. Training will be capped at 25 participants. This session is combined with the Episodic Disabilities training.

In addition, you learn about the team involved in working on identifying AAC devices for individuals with disabilities. Training will be capped at 25 participants.

This session is combined with the Episodic Disabilities training.
