Hello! Introduction to Assistive Technology Arizona
Professionals who work with clients who have disabilities, counselors, therapists and job developers are invited to attend a presentation about effective ways of working with people who have disabilities. This session concentrates on quick ways to establish rapport and improve communication right from the moment a staff first meets a client. Short videos, simulation exercises, and handouts make this session lively. We are also introducing new content about the use of mobile devices and cell phones to help communication needs. Open to One-Stop Center staff, partner staff, and community members to maximum of 25 participants each session. Individual hands-on resource or device help, and also consultation is available following each session as needed and requested.
